 We have sought out renewable and sustainable materials for the finishes in both building and home:

• Re-sourced carpets in public spaces
• Counters in both kitchen and bath use recycled glass
• Low E Glass Double Thermal Pain windows reduce temperature loss

• Natural paint contains low volatile organic compounds

GREEN ROOF

 Portions of the roof will be landscaped as a "Green Roof." This will help keep buildings cooler, reduces water run off, and lowers heat reflection into the atmosphere.

STEEL AND CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

 Steel and concrete structural systems are the best method of utilizing recycled materials in construction. The re-use of existing concrete structural slabs has minimized the negative impact on the environment, and saved thousands of tons of natural resources.

ICENYENE INSULATION

 A water based, non-toxic thermal and acoustic insulation, which has become the standard in green construction. This closed cell foam is sprayed into the exterior wall structure, and expands more than a 100 times, virtually eliminating thermal and acoustic infiltration.

CENTRAL AIR & HEATING

 Each residence is equipped with an individually controlled Trane^TM water source heat pump, supplied with tempered water from an efficient central gas boiler and cooling tower. Domestic hot water is also supplied through this source. This system saves money and helps dramatically reduce the carbon output for the building

BULK ELECTRICITY PURCHASING

 Purchasing electric power at discounted bulk rates will allow the condominium association to directly sub-meter each homeowner, saving energy costs produced from enviornmentally sound generators.
